The Conduit
Music
All consuming
Diving in wholly, I lose myself
Sound and body lacking edges
Loneliness
Flowing through
The conduit never filling
Never full
Always flowing through
Taking bits of me as it goes
I need a moment to breathe
But, I dive in again...
Safety
Love
Heaven
Drug
But, what is life without death?
And what is love without pain?
I lift my hands from the keys
and breathe...
I close the piano lid for a moment
and live…
